So Let's Walk it through

Let's see how this would all work together to save money:

1) Do an inventory of the house so you know what you have on hand and what you need.
Make a menu with your appointment calendar, repeating menu, the store ads, and your inventory on hand. If you are basically following the repeating menu this will take about 10 minutes.

2) Use the inventory, ads, and menu to make your shopping list.  Arrange it in the order of the aisles at the store if at all possible (I took a note book with me once and wrote them down as I shopped). This will make your trip quicker and easier. The faster you are in and out of the store the less money you will spend.

3) Go to your store site and add the e-coupons that you might want to use.

4) Go to Mobi save and see if you will be buying any of their deals.

5) Go to http://thekrazycouponlady.com/ to see what deals will be available at the store you are going to with the coupons you have.

6) Check your paper coupons to see:
     A) That they are not out of date
     B) Which ones you will be using.

7) Eat lunch.

8) Do your shopping. Make it quick and stick to the outside of the store as much as possible (processed foods are in the middle; natural, whole, cheap foods are around the edge.)

9) At the cash register, be sure to scan any rewards/loyalty cards and hand the cashier any paper coupons. At some stores take your own bags for extra fuel points.

10) Once home, put up all your groceries, including dividing large packages into the least wasteful method of storage for your family. Put your bags by the door to take to the car next time you go out.

11) If you shopped at Walmart, scan your receipt into Savings Catcher.

12) Enter your receipt in Receipt Hog, Receipt Pal, and Yaarlo.

13) Open checkout 51, Savings Star, and Mobi save. Mark any deals you took advantage of and scan your receipt into each one.

14) Open Ibotta. Unlock the deals your took advantage of, scan the relevant bar codes, take a picture of your receipt.

15) Take any surveys on the bottom of your receipt.

(See Earn while you Spend)

That's it. Now you are done with your shopping, have everything in the house you need until the next planned shopping trip, and have a few more cents in each account.

Feel free to print this out if it will help you.
