Seriously, I can't tell you how many people have told me they can't afford the best care for their child (mommy) because they need two incomes. Everyone who has said that had one parent making at least as much as my hubby (and usually a good deal more), fewer children, and fewer pets. They also had fancier houses, newer cars and fashionable clothes.
They simply had the priority of living a rich life style (and it IS a rich lifestyles compared to the rest of humanity even if it is the same as everyone you know). It really is possible to live much simpler.
