You know, we have talked about our hubby praising us, our children praising us, and even the Almighty God praising us. This verse says it will be our works that shall praise us in the gates; in the leading places of our cities.
How does this happen?
A woman who chooses to be virtuous will be praised for her integrity.
A woman who chooses her husband wisely will be praised for her wisdom.
A woman who loves and obeys him will be praised for achieving a long marriage.
A woman who loves and raises her children right will be praised for their accomplishments.
A woman who cares for the poor will be praised for her kindness.
A woman who uses her talents well will be praised for her industriousness.
A woman who is wise will be praised for her wisdom.
A woman who takes care of her health will be praised for her strength.
A woman who chooses not to fear will be praised for her courage.
A woman who trusts God will be praised for her beauty.
Yes, the fruits of our hands, the works we choose, the way we decide to live our lives, are what will praise us in today's city gates and in tomorrow's heavenly gate.
